I am the youngest out of four girls in my family, I have three older sisters, Kait is a senior in highschool, and Ally and Kelly are juniors in college. I have been going to pewaukee since 2nd grade, so this will be my 7th year living in Pewaukee. I used to live in Milwaukee and went to private school called Our Redeemer Lutheran School. I am very glad I moved to Pewaukee there is so much more opportunities for sports and clubs. My momws job is actually at Ple as an aid, and my dads job is he is the police cheif of Westallis.

Since I was new, and it would be my first and last year at Horizon, I thought that it was important to do whatever I felt was right and go for it; not having second doubts if I truly believed it could make a difference. Or not be afraid to do something that needed to be stopped or something that could make it better. I want to be remembered as the person who gave out good advice and helped others when needed. I somewhat want people to depend on me but if it is something I know I can do or feel confident about.

I want my new teaches to know that I am a hard working student that tries to finish every assignment with confidence. I volunteer to help and I like to be challenged when I have time. I think it is important to pay attention in class so when taking a test it is easier. I think the assignments that I will be given are going to be somewhat a challenge but I can work through it and try my best. When working in groups it can be fun and still get work done or it can be one person does all the work and the rest have fun. So I like the thought of group projects but only when everyone is working together. Overall, I am excited about ASA!

While leaving an old school, memories are brought with. I am a bigtime gamer but I do enjoy to get outside. I like baseball and it IS my favorite sport to play. I don’t enjoy watching sports when I could be involved. I like to think I am creative but I do have my boundaries. I enjoy P.E. for it is one of my favorite classes. I personally enjoy art… A LOT. :)

I have always been creative with anything I put my mind to. Whenever an idea pops up in my head I am all ready to go with that project. In the upcoming year I want my new teachers to know that I am a very creative person and I am always willing to help anyone out. My teachers would probably already know that I am Mrs.Gillen’s son, but I want them to know that I like to do anything that is very creative and that I am a very good Lego creator because when I build with Legos I show what I am feeling like in my Lego city I am always thinking of what else I could put in side of it and what else I could do. I love to read, and I also love to learn how to read the text in a different way, and learn how to understand the text even more than before. In math I love how the numbers make sense in my head, how problems start fitting together piece by piece as I solve the problem, and how I can literally take any group of numbers and do things with them that they weren’t supposed to do; like finding the mean, median, mode, and range of a group of numbers, or using a limited amount of numbers and multiplying, dividing, adding, and subtracting them to get new numbers. School related things aside, I also want my new teachers to know that I love to draw and animate, and that I love to give my art as gifts to people even more than I love making it. Finally, I want my new teachers that my main goal for next year is to try and improve my stage fright and shyness. I feel like I’ve already improved this year, but I still have quite a long way to go.

I want to be remembered this way for two reasons. The first reason is that I don’t want to give up on anything, and the voices in my head saying, “Give up, give up!” I will shut out. The other reason is because perseverance powers dreams. I also want to be remembered as a girl who’s kindness makes bullies her friends. I want to be remembered this way too because I feel as though my kindness, along w/ anyone else’s can shine through to even the meanest of the mean.

I also, when I reflect back, think about what makes me, ME. There are multiple things, but, because there are so many, I will pick out the three most important. The first one is that I have not one, but TWO pets: a pug, named Hermie and a cat, named Sookie. I mostly take care of Hermie. He can be a hassle, but w/ the right amount of responsibility and willingness to take care of the pet, I knew that I could do it. The second thing is that I’m a gamer. Whether it comes to me trying to complete a hard task, doing a speed run, or even dealing w/ someone who is rude I don’t give up, nor do I get rude w/ others, no matter how mad I get or what stands in my way. The third thing is that I am a sibling to a one-year-younger, autistic brother, named Jacob. When you think of a sibling w/ special needs, you think that I deal w/ horribleness everyday, but, you’re actually wrong. Yes, I do deal w/ stress on some days, but on others, there isn’t any problems. To be quite honest, it is really a special thing to have a brother like that. It’s special because you have more responsibility when it comes to a sibling like that, and also, I feel incredibly lucky to have an amazing brother like him.

I have been good at my group leader skills and what they have to do throughout my journey at Horizon. I want to be remembered as a good group leader who helps people when necessary, and how is smart in academics.

I want teachers in ASA to know a lot about me. I play tennis and want to become a professional at it. I like math class because numbers and how they work with the signs and data is just fascinating to me. I like playing video games and board games in my freetime, but manly watch TV. At the school the teachers has helped me so much. They wanted to learn about me. A couple things I would like teaches to know about me is, How I try my best at everything, I work hard for things that I want. I would also like teaches to know that I love to play volleyball, I play for a team called Midwest Penguins. My team placed 2nd out of all the teams in the BA region. That is because when I first started out at Horizon I was very introverted and shy but, was very energetic and funny person when I was with my main group. That led me to gaining more friends but, I was often too shy to just be out there with anyone. However, that may have saved me with friendships with people who were going to hurt my life in and out of school. Fourth grade was a huge step to where I was today as I met many of my friends and gained confidence to make new ones in the future. That was important for fifth grade when I met some of my closest friends. Even though, I met one of them before in summer school but, they helped me develop from insecure and shy to more open and confident person. That has helped me a lot as a sixth grader as I am better when presenting presentations. Also, in fifth grade I was rewarded a nomination for showing something (I forgot at this moment). That has helped my image throughout the school and has made me a very kind person. I want my new teachers to know that I am very shy at the start of the school year, I am attentive, and I am a hard worker in and out of school. I am very shy when I'm introduced to a new environment because I usually don’t know what to think of when it happens. It takes a few months for myself to be fully immersed into an environment. That means that for the first few months of the school year I may not be as outgoing and risky as I am at the end of the year. That is normal but, my time takes a little bit longer than others. My teacher even talked about it at the first conferences I had. That is also because I want to make a good first impression. If I am showing myself making poor decisions than it will seem like I am always like this. So, at the start of the school year I try to make as many safe decisions as possible. I am attentive because I don’t want to know what was going to happen if I wasn’t paying attention. This results in fear for myself that I am going to fail and not receive the praise in my grades I feel I deserve. I can prove that I am very attentive with my listening and speaking grades. I got either 3’s, 3.5’s, or 4’s on that grade and it shows that teachers this year have been able to notice my attentiveness. That is extremely important because it shows that teachers in my past have been able to notice and I think they will too. I am a hard worker in and out of school and it shows with my academic and athletic success. For academic, I only got one test for reading and writing in which my overall grade was less than a 3; then I was able to improve on that and what I was lacking has turned into a thing I am able to do easily. This shows that I work hard to meet my standards and goals. For athletic, I am able to play three sports competitively and at a high level. It shows with baseball as I practice usually between three or five days a week unless I have a game, weather issues, or another sport. This shows that I am committed to success and I am able to handle my life with my; family, school, and sports. An interesting fact about myself is that I own a tortoise and his name is scratchy. We got him three years ago and is a huge part of my brother and my lives. Although, I have had less time to spend with him because I either have baseball or homework but, it is still fun with the time I can have. Going over to Middle School I am going to have some new teachers that may not know anything about me; so here's a slip bit of my life. To start it off I will start with my family, I have 3 older sisters, Zoe, and Tea. Then I have a brother Jax and a mom. For the third sister spot she was named Ella, and she passed away. That is how I got my middle name, Ella stood for Cinderella, so El stood for Ella. It is the five of us against the world and we are some of the most hard working, loving, and strongest people you will ever meet. Now going into sports, I play basketball, and love to watch and run cross country, and track. I have been running and playing basketball forever! Both of my older sister ran and Tea played basketball. Sports such as these make a supper big impact on my life. Because my sister Zoe is an amazing runner and that is who I look up to for everything. Some other things you should now about me is that I love fashion. I love fashion so much; sometimes I wear super weird things but all that matters is that I love it! I also love fashion so much because when I get older I would like to open my own bridal shop or weeding story. For personality I am someone you can always go to for help and or anything you need. I am also a very outgoing person who just wants to be my and not change for anyone. So if you need someone to just have fun and dance I am someone because I love just to have fun! Through these next two years being at your school there is so much more things to uncover about me; because I have a lot of funny stories with being a strong person when you are going through a lot in my life. Another thing that I want to be remembered by is being able to be serious or silly at times. Finally, I really want to be remembered by being able to answer questions or give advice when needed.

I want my new teachers to know that I am a middle child, with two sisters. I also enjoy playing volleyball and softball. Although, academically, I always get things done but not always the fastest. I am not the best at reading but I love math.
