I would love to be the kind of person who can be counted on by my colleagues , and who has a good support network as part of the job. i think nursing is perfect to me because more than other profession, nursing give will give me an opportunity to care an other people; human connection has always been important to me. nursing is an opportunity to help people at their most vulnerable.

MANDATORY : choose an article from the reading bank and summarize it

SECRET OF A LONG LIFE

Okinawans eat a traditional diet of soya, fruit, and vegetables. They don't eat a lot of red meat, and their diet is low in fats. Many elderly Okinawansalso live by the motto "Eat until you are 80% full', and this helps them to control portion sizes. Elderly Okinawans enjoy walking, gardening, and Tai Chi, and often work long after the usual age of retirement in Western countries. Interviews with elderly Okinawans reveal that they are optimistic, adaptable, and easy- going. They have followed a more Western diet and lifestyle, and the results have been devastating. For Okinawans who move away from the island, the picture is similar. Around 100,000 Okinawans moved to Brazil and adopted the eating habits of their new home, including eating a lot of red meat.

3) why would like to be a clinical tutor in future?

the clinical tutor is very important on a training level for all those who are starting this journey in hospital and becoming a health professional. The tutor encourages circular communication between the new member and the rest of the group, and stimulates learning by asking questions. A good tutor must have experience, motivation for change and personal growth, voluntariness, flexibility, balance and availability in discussion, in-depth knowledge of the specialty in which he works, pedagogical, teaching and evaluation aptitudes deriving from previous training experiences. Therefore, it is very important that the coordinator checks who is most suitable for having these skills so that they can remember the experience in a positive way and above all receive excellent results from the event. Luckily I ended up with a nurse who made me understand how a real health professional works. I have wonderful memories of my time in hospital and I hope that it will be like this throughout my university career.

4) summarize a tv show / book /movie in a hospital, clinic or doctor’s office

It is a medical drama, centered on the life of Meredith, a medical resident.

she is a young girl who, after graduating from medical school, manages to join the group of surgical interns at Seattle Grace Hospital. So he moved to Seattle, to the old house that belonged to his mother.

Here he finds himself sharing the new experience together with a group of young peers, all struggling with the most varied problems, sentimental and otherwise. Meredith is the daughter of Ellis Grey, a world-renowned doctor specializing in general surgery, which makes her feel the weight of her surname a lot. The evening before starting the internship, Meredith meets Derek, a charming man with whom she spends the night, in a pub; the next day he discovers that he is actually Derek Shepherd, a neurosurgeon at Seattle Grace, as well as his supervisor. Meredith must thus juggle love, friendships and an ever-growing passion for surgery.

Did anyone or anything influence your decision ?

I have always liked being in contact with people who need help, in particular saving a life and being able to say at the end of the day "I did it, it's a beautiful day I managed to save a life" I decided to Becoming a nurse since I was little when I went to the doctor to be examined has always fascinated and interested me. Try doing this for a couple of days, if you see that the pain doesn't change anyway, we will ask the specialist to visit you before discharge. In the eyes of others, Rachele appears like a courageous little girl, who knows how to face treatment with great strength of mind, yet in her heart she too has a labyrinth of emotions which, including sadness, fear and anger, cause her great tiredness. She entrusts her thoughts to the pages of a diary and discovers that there is a way out of her discomfort. The first step is to demand clear and child-friendly speeches from doctors. Rachele hopes that these pages can also help all the children who have the same experience as her.
