Through Deadly Unna? It shows racism and discrimination because of the label that has been put on a person. Through the video, the man has successfully explained that no one is born a racist, and through community or the people around cause them to become prejudiced, this cause it to feel normal. IN Deadly Unna? Phillip Gwynne has conceived how a community discriminates and separates itself from the local indigenous people. The label that has been put on Aboriginals is that they don’t deserve sympathy and should be judged and that the white community should be scared of them. This links with the video on how we label people on how they look or what their culture is. But everyone is themselves like how he said in the video it's like your car and it’s the car you will have forever it’s not a car we can pick therefore we should judge anyone because no one can control it.

After watching this video it reflects on Deadly Unna because it talks about racism. They contribute with each other, how they talk about racism in the video it talks about how you are given a label on the colour of your skin or your culture. It is the same in Deadly Unna, the indigenous people are given a label by all the white people. An example that the indigenous people are given a label is how the white people don't have anything to do with the indigenous because of there colour of their skin. This links the video with Deadly Unna because of the labels, how the Indigenous people and the white done have much to do with each other because of the labels that they are given when they are born. It says in the video that they can’t help what label they get .

Deadly Unna character Blacky is racist and was brought up like that because of society, and his family. The video spoke about labels and what they do to us, Blacky seems like he was brought up with labels the way he acts and just the racist jokes he tells the boys at the pub.

Both the book and the video are  very similar the way they both express racism and the actual effects of racism.

The video talks about how different people of different races, genders and religions are separated from each other and given labels. In the novel, the two races are also given labels and as the book explains that the two races don’t live together, the indigenous community lives separately from the other race. The video then proceeds to explain that we can make a difference by breaking the rules of society and not labelling people that look or act differently, the novel shows this as Blacky starts making a difference by attending Dumby’s funeral and painting over the grafiti. Both the video and the novel expresses that society will always label you into different categories but that you as the viewer can make a difference.

The video tells us that when you are not born with labels you are given labels when born. In the novel, Dumby tries to stop the idea that people should be judged on their colour and what they look like. Dumby gets rid of some racist graffiti that is on the side of a building, but this is not 
going to stop racism. The way that we all are going to reduce racism, is by getting society to make a change.

In the video, Prince tells us that racism starts when people give us labels according to our skin colour, our place of birth, our slang and many other things. The same happens in the novel as the town people was divided according to their colours and culture. For example, White people are born and labelled as a goonya as soon as they were born and Black people are born and labelled as a nungas as soon as they were born. This racist act was accepted in the communities and considered as normal and common by the communities.
