I am thankful for WB, for the time people put in to make the Nelson-Ododa event special, for the manpower it took to make it happen last minute, for an amazing admin team that works their butts off to make this a wonderful place to work, for the student body that rocked it yesterday with being quiet and supportive during the signing, and for simply being part of this WB family. I am thankful for more good days at work than bad, for co-workers that make me laugh and help keep it real, and for an admin team that is trusting, supportive, and positive. I'm thankful for a great work environment that I love being apart of everyday. I'm thankful for an admin team that works tirelessly to make our jobs easier, and who trusts us to do our job. I'm thankful for a department that helps one another out when needed and who is always trying to do what's best for students. I'm thankful for all the athletes I coach, because they teach me to be the best person I can be. I'm thankful for all the other coaches I work with because they teach me how to be the best coach I can be. I'm very blessed to be here and definitely am a believer that all things happen for a reason. Thankful for my GG family who loves me, and I wish I could repay them all for what they've done for me. I'm so thankful to be back at WBHS. Having an admin team who works tirelessly to support teachers, on top of giving us autonomy in our own classroom, is not something you find many places. I am thankful for my health and the ability to wake up and have a job to come to. I am thankful for a school that truly allows us to put our families without making us feel guilty and ones that will bend over backwards to help us here when things do happen in our lives. I am thankful for another day of breath and the ability to choose my attitude each day. I am thankful that if I mess this up, there is always tomorrow. I am thankful for a merciful and loving God that forgives me when I mess up (which is pretty much everyday). I am thankful for my children and my spouse that are always there for me. I am thankful to work for a great school such as WBHS! As I continue my 12th year here, there are many great things to be thankful for....football and basketball games, tailgate parties, dances, dinners, chorus concerts, band concerts and so much more. I have watched your children grow and even taught a few! Weddings, baby showers, birthdays are shared by families.......so I am thankful that I have shared so many of these events with my GG family!

I am thankful to 'be from Winder' and raise my family here. I am thankful to be a product of WBHS. I am thankful to work with some great people, many of whom I choose to have as friends. I am thankful for the supportive admin team we have here at WBHS. I think it is sometimes difficult for teachers to see and understand the workload of an administrator. I know that you all are pulled in many different directions throughout the day. Even in the tug-of-war you are involved in every day I can always count on each one of you to answer my questions and have my back. Thank you!

I am thankful for Beth Savage. I have known her all my life and consider her my work mama. She knows the answer to EVERYTHING going on in the school and is always willing to help me with ANYTHING I need. <3

I am thankful for my department head, Cris Cook. He goes above and beyond for our department by ordering our MANY supplies each year, getting work together when we are out, and checking in on our families when someone is sick. I think he’s sodium awesome. J

Most of all, I am thankful for the many lasting friendships that I have made here at the ole WB. I love coming to work each day and cutting up with you all. WBHS is a great place to be!
