The reason why Henry Hudson explored was because of gold and glory. The reason why he explored for gold is after he found the Northwest passage he got to explore more. This is positive because he found more straights but closer to where he was located and lived so it helped other explores in the area. With things came a lot of respect for Henry Hudson which makes him one of the most famous explorers still to this day. Also it was important and helpful towards him because people gave him a lot credit and joy after they started calling it the Hudson. Also he explored for one more reason and that was for glory. He wanted glory because he would get more fame after he found new passages and shortcuts. He got a lot of glory after he found the Northwest Passage north of Canada. This is positive because it found a efficient way for Europeans to get to Asia across the ocean. The Northwest passage is a straight north of Canada. When Henry Hudson found new passages and different shortcuts in the ocean he told everyone he could because I would give their country glory because it would help the whole world because it was a big shortcut that would take off days of sailing.  This is positive so counties have a good relationship with each other and then they can collab together

  1. With Henry Hudson's name going around and then becoming one of the most famous explorers he started going on more expeditions trying to passages and such. This was big because his country got a lot of credit and so did Hudson. He ended up finding more around Europe which was still very good for his country. This is a positive because his country would be counted on to find new areas, and also be able to trade with each other so they can get good.

  1. Henry Hudson was able to be the person that they could count on to find new areas and explore because he he had a lot of experience and he could be trusted to go out and find these things which gave his country a lot of fame in the exploring world. This is a positive and all of these show that Henry Hudson did a lot of good things and helped out a ton of people so everyone can succeed.

He also brought food and supplies that the Natives tried and that is an example of cultural blending because the food is not from North America so its bring over a new type of food.

This is a negative because people and natives would get killed over the land just so it can be colonized. He had multiple items to do thing with and those were his ship, guns, and swords. There is another negative and this one has to do with the same concept but when the non natives come over to try to colonize the land they can spread diseases like bubonic plague, chickenpox, cholera, the common cold, diphtheria, influenza, malaria, measles, and scarlet fever to name a few. Which also they can kill people over nine million and this is negative because then there is a big fight and sometimes others get involved. Last but not least there is a positive and that is countries when they colonize they are able to get new land and create new things like fur, stone & clay, the fiber and juice from wild plants, the wood, bark & roots from innumerable trees. There is different resources that are exclusive is only some parts of the world.
