They can be created by individual students as a way of reporting on one's work as an alternative to the PowerPoint Presentation.          <title>How did I create my masterpiece?</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I went to cliptomize.com and clicked on create account.&nbsp; I signed up and began my masterpiece straight away.&nbsp; I chose to use a template on one and create my other two from scratch.&nbsp; I then clicked on add text, video, and photo and added everything to each page.  The wonderful part of this technology is that the I can add everything to it to enhance my instruction.  I can add any photo, video or text that I please.  The videos play directly on the scrapbook so that I have the opportunity to stay on the scrapbook to view and teach.  This allows me to be able to stay on topic.  This specific technology also allowed me to create my identity as a teacher and as a writer.&nbsp; I felt like I was creating my own story with the ability to show emotions and give clues into what I'm thinking. &nbsp;<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>How did I use the New Literacy in my Lessons</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I used this new literacy in two ways in my two lessons.&nbsp; For both, it was a teaching tool with instructions for both of my lessons.&nbsp; Then, I used it as a class tool.&nbsp; For the first lesson about theme, I taught with the online scrapbook, but I also added the class's view and each student's thoughts on what theme is for each of the poems. &nbsp;<br>For my second lesson, again I used it to teach the beginning of the lesson on rhyme scheme.  Then, at the end of the lesson, I would compile all of the students' poems and make a published online scrapbook.  </div>]]></description>

         <title>Communication is Key</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>With this new literacy, you have the ability to publish the finished project online.&nbsp; This allows for a multitude of communication between authors, teachers, parents, students, etc.&nbsp; You can pick templates that reflect you as a person with this technology or you can design your own template. &nbsp;<br><br>This specific new literacy can be used to explore curriculum.  I would use this as I did in my lessons (As a teaching resource and a work compilation &nbsp;resource).  This allows for other classes to visit other class scrapbooks and reflect on them.  It allows for creativity and can again be used in every single subject.  </div>]]></description>
