I support this issue because I think that the tax for the zoo should be renewed. It is a wonderful place where anyone can visit and admire the plants and animals and they need money to help keep it running efficiently.
Pros:
-The zoo is supported more by the public so they can make a better space for its visitors and animals.
-They can be able to afford more supplies and technology to conserve the health of the animals.
- It will only cost about $10.60 per year for those who own a 100,000 house and they are already paying this tax.
Cons:
-Another tax to pay for...
-It does not benefit everyone, not everyone likes the zoo or is in support of zoos
- The zoo has constantly increasing costs

Here is what I learned about the strengths and weaknesses about M-PESA
Strengths:
-Anyone can access M-PESA and it is very user-friendly.
-You do not have to open a bank account in order to use it
-It helps to cut back on fraud
-It is easy for the users to keep track of all of their money in one place
Weaknesses:
-It may be more difficult to use when they have to send or receive money from other countries that don't use M-PESA.
-Money is in easy access so it may make the people spend their money quicker.
-If your cell phone gets stolen and they somehow know the pin, the money can be sent away easily and quickly.

This could maybe be something I would be interested in using because it is very easy to keep track of my money and easy and available to use. Although, I am pretty content with my money system now so I could go either way. It does sound interesting though so i would definitely be willing to give it a try.

Also, I learned about the importance of financing your money; including, spending, saving, borrowing and investing. I found the best scenario for buying a car, one that had a low interest and the proper amount of months to pay back the loan that I took out so that I could make the payments on time. I also analyzed credit score situations and learned about the factors in being accepted for a loan based on your credit score. I know that it is important to show that you can keep up on your bills, have a minimal amount of credit cards open, and use good types of credit such as a mortgage.

Cornell Notes

From these Cornell notes, I was able to take away information about topics that I maybe thought that I wouldn't be researching about. When I was coming up with my senior project questions, Mr. Smyth gave me some new ideas about some other areas related to my topic that I should look into. I was able to research the history of headaches in which I really was not very aware of at all and I was surprised as to how much information was recorded about them. I learned about the supposed, father of medicine, Hippocrates and certain technique and beliefs that they had about the treatment and causes of headaches. I was very surprised to find that in one point in time, the people would poke holes on the skull with a stone knife to release the bad spirits that had been causing their head to ache. Additionally, I looked into why alternative medicine can be a better option for some people because it applies to their whole body, not just the spot of the issue. This can be specifically helpful for people who suffer from headaches and migraines like I do.
