In this cartoon titled The Chronicle Herald [2023], it caught my attention thanks to the small details in this case of the newspaper that expresses "Israel Hamas war" and is being read by the president of Russia, Vladimir Putin. I consider that this cartoon expresses the cynicism of this president, since the image reflects sadness for the situation that occurs in Israel and all the deaths. But meanwhile you see all the people dead around Putin from the war between Ukraine and Russia that he himself caused out of pure greed and power. For the same reason, this image is related to the key concept of representation since this cartoon shows the clear reality of what is experienced on a daily basis in this war and has a global issue of politics, power and justice since these are wars. entirely caused by governments.

In this cartoon titled Prince Andrew High School changed its name to Woodlawn High School because of the Jeffrey Epstein scandal, I decided to choose it since it dealt with a very controversial topic about Jeffrey Epstein and the list of people involved in the trips to his private island. In this case it is reflected how it was a great surprise to people that the Duke of York was involved in this type of impure acts. This cartoon expresses the author's perspective on Prince Andrew's reaction upon seeing the news, which is a very calm one since as he is a powerful person he can solve his problems with ease and money, letting injustices pass by. It has a global issue of power, injustice and also community since this has been a social fact that for years has sought to achieve justice, but unfortunately this has not been possible thanks to corruption.

I found this cartoon striking since the Statue of Liberty appears and I think it adds a little humor to the image. What this cartoon is trying to express is how horrible the 2020 elections in the United States were, that even the Statue of Liberty felt disgusted by what happened. In those elections, Joe Biden won, but in addition to that, Trump supporters attacked the Capitol in Washington DC to prevent Biden's proclamation. Given all those events, they were atypical elections. This image is related to the key concept of transformation since there were years where Americans were happy with their presidents and the work they did, but that has now completely disappeared.
