         <description><![CDATA[<div>Some examples of how humans have modify, depended on, and adapted to the land are the Netherlands, The great plains. The Netherlands had to modify the land because their country is mostly below sea level so it easily floods so they make man made islands to help&nbsp; get more land. The great plains had to adapt to their land by making irrigation systems to help water their crops because the great plains does not get that much water from rain/oceans.</div>]]></description>
