Something from the Vietnamese culture that will inspire me to look at things differently is the value of health and living a long life, I realize that if you control your health and keep it well balanced you can live a long happy life. One thing from the Vietnam Unit that will inspire me to look at things differently because of the new things I learned about the diversity inside of the country that can also transition into diversity in all other countries. The way the Vietnamese culture live in clans and how family is very important to them- that inspires me to look at my own culture differently. I feel as if there's this big culture shift occurring within my generation and even the American culture that focuses much more on the individual rather than the collective. We are taking an outlook on life that is much more "live for yourself and not for/through others".
