These quotes can relate by Romeo having the thought that he'd rather be dead than live without her. In the end of the play, he then stuck with what he said by killing himself while he thought Juliet was dead. Juliet then did the same when she awoke to Romeo's dead body at her side. This is important because through the play Romeo and Juliet didn't treat life as a gift, but Instead treated it more as a wall, blocking them from being with one another. Romeo and Juliet express true love in the affect of not being able to live without one another throughout.

Juliet already drank the potion that makes her go into a deathlike sleep, gifted by Friar Lawrence. Romeo goes to kill himself so he can be with Juliet forever because he thinks she's truly dead. Romeo drinks the real poison as Juliet awakes from her deathlike sleep seeing Romeo, dead, next to her. She then kisses him, pulls a dagger from his sheath, and stabs herself to be with him forever.
