Methods:
- Sounds - These help to develop an atmospheric feeling that engages people with environments in a way that is difficult to articulate or are non-specific. Sounds that feel real are important to creating atmospheric spaces regardless of if they are actually real.
- Ethnographic Observations - By observing people, this helps to understand whether their behaviour and actions correlate to the atmospheres they perceive. Observations might show us how highly unexplored/ inaccessible parts of the world creates a specific atmosphere[s] or felt presence & how people react to this. Methods:
Sounds - can be used to stimulate feelings experienced by soldiers during war, however the full extent of emotions felt by soldiers may not be possible in this kind of setting. War sounds may include planes, bombs dropping and gunfire will place fear into visitors giving a cultural experience as sounds and displays set the atmosphere. an intent to educate children and possibly bring back authentic feelings of the past for elders will influence peoples behaviour as they walk around he building visiting different sections and  Interact with sounds.
Moods and behaviours will change once the experience is over , Questionnaire or interviews can be conducted at entrances and exits to observe the change in moods and covert observations can take pace to observe behavioural changes after specific sounds. Moods may become worse as old memories will be brought back, however the feeling of honour and being proud may be brought back too from family members.

- Sounds: can be used to stimulate an atmosphere that will allow people to feel overwhelmed (due to them being at a netball world cup), a sense of pride, a sense of amazement, and potential influence to encourage people to take up the sport.  The sounds are important in creating atmospheric spaces.
- Questionnaires or Interviews:  can be used to assess how moods and behaviors change before and after their experience.  It is important to assess this change as it will highlight how the experience stimulates an atmospheric space.

Methods:
Images - to help look at the place as well as using technology to help imagine what the roman settlement use to look like before it went under water, and also if its not able to be reached due to travel issues or needing the use of scuba gear which can be costly. 
Observations - by looking at how the settlement is it allows the researcher to look at what the romans thought was significant in their time period as well as gaining insight into alot of their history. by recovering this data it will allow people to become aware of what was completely forogtten due to being under the sea. it may also make the researcher observe their emotion towards it as it was a place that contained life, so by recording the emotions of the team as well may show how a place has an affect on people.
