Many soldiers barely got out their trench before they were cut down. we can now kill people faster. The machine gun lengthened the war and forced it to become a trench war.</div>]]></description>

They use trenches to attempt to move forward but very slowly.  Due to the trenches defending the opposing side's solders, the countries had to advance in their military technology. soldiers on all fronts had begun digging trenches.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This trench fares are narrow holes in the round that the soldiers dig. They would sometimes put bobbed wires around so that they can hear someone at night. These trenches had their purpose, as said in the other paragraph. Which is to protect themselves from heavy firepower. This was kind of like their shield, there some-what safe shelter. </div>]]></description>
