Grotto Azzura ( Blue Grotto Cave) -  
This is a day expedition. you can rent or bring your own paddleboard/boat for a guided tour through the grotto caves. these are partially underwater caves that or only accessible by your small boats. sunlight that seeps in makes the water glow blue, creating a surreal experience that is surely unforgettable. The sea cave is 60 meters long and 25 meters wide. The mouth of the cave is only 2 meters wide and only 1 meter high. For a guided tour with a trained guide and a 6 person paddleboat, it is €13.00 for the entrance fee.  You can do a full travel by boat tour around the entire island, with a stop to Blue Gorotto, for only €16.00 (entry fee not included) . the Blue Grotto caves are only accesible 1 of 4 days every 90 day, this is due to the tide being at its lowestpoint and depending on the weather and the roughness of the waves.

            The Arco Naturale is a natural arch on the east coast of the island of Capri. Dating from the Paleolithic age, it is the remains of a collapsed grotto. The arch spans 12 m at a height of 18 m above ground and consists of limestone. From the small square facing the arch, there are views over the Sorrentine Penisola, especially Punta Campanella, and the islets of the Li Galli archipelago. Along the route, there are a number of scenic overlooks which let you enjoy the view from directly under the stone formation; or you can enjoy views of the Natural Arch from the sea. The entrance to the Charterhouse is at the end, next to a  tower. The Charterhouse is made up of three blocks of buildings: one, which is separate from the convent and houses, the pharmacy, and women's church; one is for the converse monks, stables, and the monks workshops; the last block was reserved for the life of seclusion with a series of cells around Choistro Grande cloister and the other rooms encircling the smaller Chiostro Piccolo.  The Chiostro Piccolo has delicate cross vaults on Roman marble columns. Today, the Charterhouse is, of the Diefenbach Museum and, during the summer, functions as venues for concerts, and cultural events. To enter for the day it is €4 and every Sunday is free.

        Although they DO NOT have tomato sauce flowing in their veins, Italy does love their pasta. This Italian delicacy will probably be found on every menu you browse through while on your vacation in Capri, Pasta, and seafood is probably the most common thing to expect, most of the food isn't very vegetarian or vegan-friendly but certainly tasty. Most dishes  are packed full of vegetables, meats and grains. Security and Crime-
The level of street crime in Italy is comparable to that of other European countries, particularly in large urban centres. Petty crime such as pick-pocketing and purse snatching occur at tourist sites, on public transportation and at major airports and railway stations. Foreigners are targeted. If possible, avoid carrying handbags. Motorcyclists frequently grab bags and other personal belongings from pedestrians, often resulting in injury to the robbery victim. There have also been reports of thefts of unattended belongings at beaches.Thieves often work in pairs or groups and will attempt to distract the victim while their accomplices rob them. Be particularly careful of offers to help with flat tires or if someone spills food or a beverage on you; these are common ploys used by groups of thieves. The number of lost and stolen passports increases during the summer months. To prevent loss or theft, exercise caution and carry a photocopy of your passport, rather than the original.

Exit & Entry-
When traveling to other countries always be sure to familiar yourself with your embassy. know its location and how to get to it from all of your planned sites to travel. of course, you will need a updated qualifying passport. always bring a photocopy of your passport, identification and plane tickets, and emergency money with it. No tourist Visa is necessary for visits under 90 days.

Laws and Culture-
Canada and Italy are signatories to the Convention on the Transfer of Sentenced Persons (Council of Europe). This enables a Canadian imprisoned in Italy to request a transfer to a Canadian prison to complete a sentence. The transfer requires the agreement of both Canadian and Italian authorities. Buying counterfeit merchandise, such as sunglasses or purses, is illegal. Local authorities may impose heavy fines on tourists caught buying counterfeit merchandise. It is illegal to photograph government buildings and military installations. Ask permission from local authorities before taking photographs of these locations. Observe public notices about conduct, which are found in and around tourist areas in major cities.

Never be affraid to ask for assistance from authorities, try to update yourself as much as you can about the state of the foreighn country you are visiting. abide by all laws at all times. if you feel like it might be wrong. it probably is,
