It might not have been the best idea to walk in the woods this late, but it had been a stressful week, and I just needed to get away from my society and retreat in my own safety bubble. Up ahead was the oldest and biggest oak tree in the forest, where I had been heading for the last 20 minutes or so. Suddenly, I could hear branches cracking behind the tree. I almost jumped out of my own skin. I was alone, right? There was definitely no one out here in the day, much less at midnight. Then, a mounstrous beast stepped out into the light. Although it was built like Bigfoot, it looked more like a wolf than anything else. Its entire body was covered in dull gray fur, with red highlights, suggesting something grevious had happened. Not only that, its gleaming eyes were also scanning around repeatedly, shining brightly in the dark night. The gleaming claws of that creature were sharper than I had ever seen, as though sharp enough to slice the air itself. It whipped around, growling. I thought it had seen me, but it was actually looking at a poor fox. As it prepared to pounce, I saw that the creature's mouth was filled with teeth, serrated ivory teeth, with some of the longest canines I had ever seen.

But when it started to smile, it began to reflect on me, making me hallucinate. No one knew what happened to me after anymore...
