I learned in this section the controlling process.  This section really hit home because it reminded me of what happens at my job when someone is not performing well. The controlling process has the three main steps of measuring performance, comparing performance to standards, and taking corrective action. At work if I don't collect enough money (measuring performance), then my supervisor compares it to the standards or work(comparing performance to standards).
