Holi, also called the festival of sharing and love or the festival of colors is a Hindu two day festival in the Spring. The festival falls in the months of February and March each year with the first day of the festival called Chhoti Holi or Holika Dahan and the second day called Dhuleti or Rangwali Holi.

There are lots of Hindu legends that are believed to contribute to the meaning of the festival, but there are two in particular that are thought to be the most popular - each one celebrated over the two day period
