We need to consider the constraints of technology use. Are we encouraging a culture of phone zombies in our next generation, can we predict the outcome of further technology use in the reduction of verbal communication skills, kinesthetic learning, or the increase of the reliance on AI tools?

Through technology use in schools, we can provide a safe environment for exploring online platforms and well as teaching about online safety as part of the curriculum. This should hopefully enable learners to be confident to share their views and beliefs with the wider community and world. Along with providing them with skills for entering the world of work.

As a teacher in further education, I am ensuring my students are ready for the world of work. whilst I have a curriculum to follow, I must ensure learners have the skills to be competent in their vocation, I do this through using lots of digital platforms and completing CPD around new teaching tools, such as NEARPOD, Centurytech and the use of digital immersive classrooms.
