It is the first of the 5 book series. “Young man, names are powerful.” This line from Chiron was deep for me in this book it told me that to not judge a person by it’s name. If your a Harry Potter fan than this is the book for you, instead of blaming everything on magic this book actually explain how things work with the gods.

 When I found out that Percy was the son of Poseidon I was shocked because I thought he was just a normal kid. Rick Riordan has won up to 6 awards! Other series Rick made were Heroes of Olympus, and The trails of Apollo.
