Jones is best known exploring indigenous traditions, relationships, and ideas through site-specific installations and interventions that feature fluorescent tubes and incandescent bulbs. In 2015 he will present a major new work in conjunction with Carriageworks and Performance Space.

In 2015 Scarce’s work will be shown at Art Basel Hong Kong by Dianne Tanzer Gallery + Projects, marking the first time an Australian indigenous contemporary glass/installation artist has exhibited at an international art fair.
