I love carnivorous plants, grow them at home, and

know they are both photosynthetic and can digest

insects! They are able to digest insects because they

grow naturally in nutrient poor soil!

I was always really interested in genetics/heredity. I used to love doing Punnet squares! I remember a lot about recessive and dominant traits but I could use a review.

Human anatomy was always interesting to me,

and it was interesting to learn about how different organs function.

I also enjoyed learning about plant and animal life cycles.

I am interested in the science behind newer prosthetics. The

combination of biology and technology to aid people in need

is greatly improving. I am amazed with the recent advances

with touch sensitivity and nerve connectivity of these devices.

I have always loved the inter-connectivity of biology. The world is full of ways that everything we learn can be connected, this is especially true to the study of nature and life.

Go neuroscience! I will always be interested in how the brain works. It's crazy that little chemical reactions between cells in our brains make us capable of doing all the things we do / feel / experience! I also love/d learning about neuroanatomy.
