         <description><![CDATA[<p>Law #209 - If a man strikes a free-born woman so that she loses her unborn child, he shall pay ten shekels for her loss. </p><p><br/></p><p>The man is not punished that harshly for killing her unborn child.</p><p><br/></p><p>Law #196 - If a man put out the eye of a nobleman (amelu), his eye shall be put out. [An eye for an eye ]   </p><p><br/></p><p>Mesopotainians belive in equal punishment and have an obsession with eyes (mentioned in 7 laws)</p><p><br/></p><p>Law #218 - If a physician performs an operation and kills someone or cuts out his eye, the doctor’s hands shall be cut off. </p><p><br/></p><p>they did not believe in forgivness in any way and if you do any mistake or wrong, you may be punished harshly. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Law #21 - If anyone breaks into a house to steal, he will be put to death before that point of entry and be buried there (walled into the house).    </p><p><br/></p><p>This seems like a very extreme punishment for the crime that was committed. </p><p><br/></p><p>Law #192- If an adopted son says to his adoptive father or mother: "You are not my father, or my mother," his tongue shall be cut off.     </p><p><br/></p><p>the son is speaking truth, and he may have not chosen his life. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Law #5 - If a judge tries a case, reaches a decision, and presents his judgment in writing but later an error is found that is the judge’s own fault, then the judge must pay twelve times the fine set by him in the case; in addition, he shall be publicly removed from the judge's bench, never again to sit on the bench nor render judgment.</p><p><br/></p><p>Edited Version: if a Judge makes a purposeful wrong decision, he will no longer serve as a judge and must pay a fine to the wrongly accused party. </p>]]></description>
