This is a very well-known liqueur from Germany. It tastes like mint and is called „Berliner Luft". Translated it means “Berlin Air”. The fresh peppermint liqueur is clear and fresh, just like the air in Berlin. The cult drink of the Berlin party scene is always a welcome guest.

My treat will be our dessert! It's kserotigana and raki. Kserotigana are actually fritters with honey and almonds. They are very popular in Crete (you can view more about my place here https://youtu.be/wxkc-02Tw-M) and they are served on festive occasions, including Christmas, Easter, weddings, baptisms or you can eat them any time if you have an appetite for those! Raki is a rather strong alcohol beverage that we drink in shots. Raki is also called tsikoudia and is served on almost every occasion. This Cretan drink is a symbol of friendship and nobility and a sign of social communication. It is served almost naturally after every meal as it is good for digestion also.
