I love playing football but personally, I'm not built to play football. I take a very long time to adjust and learn things and I started playing football competitively later than most kids do. So by the time I started all these kids knew what they were doing and I had no idea what to do. So when everyone else was doing things I was backed up because I was so far behind. I decided I wanted to make myself noticeable so I studied the roles and what I'm supposed to do. I'm still struggling with it but I have a better understanding of it. I'm also much smaller than most kids so when we were matched up it was harder to make plays. I was done not being able to do anything so every practice I did twice as much practice than everyone else was doing just to catch up. I was so couraged by not being the one who couldn't do anything anymore and I persevered my previous skill level. This still applies because now I'm still a little behind and I've got to play with kids on another level. So I've got to keep Persevering.

How does my story relate to the theme-
I was very far behind and didn't want to be the one who was looked down on anymore. Regarding the circumstances, I chose to keep trying and not give up. That was my courage and push and I did everything I could to persevere in succeeding to play better than I did.

Having fear to do something could offten associate to not having the courage to do it, even though you know you want to do it. This could apply to several things. My uncle got me into skateboaring when I was young and back then I did a lot just to get the basics down. When it came to every new thing I was doing it was pretty simple and straight forward and it drove me into keep trying. When it came to the period where when I kept evolving my skill in skateboarding there difficulty of the new things increased by a lot. Now the trick was pretty easy until the end, where I had to do a board flip off a pretty high edge. I was driven to accomplish it but I was held back by my fear of hurting myself on the trick and I didn't want that to happen so I kept hesitating. A week later I'm still staring down the ledge I wanted to jump but couldn't do it so I just gave up. I then saw someone else do it and realised I probably wasn't going to get any better if I couldn't do the trick. That picked my courage back up and I started my first attempt. I fell on my hand and hurt myself but since I've done it I wanted to do it again. Another week passes and I'm still trying to land the trick. After the straight week of very close attempts I finally got it down.

How does the theme connect to the story-
Regardless the cirumstances I realized that if I didn't do this I wasn't going to get any better. So I had to get over my fear and perservere.

One time in Seventh grade I was having severe problems with keeping up in all my classes due to being an Avid student. This had it set to where about 90% of my classes were honors or advanced classes. That being said I have trouble keeping up and learning things early. I was fine at first but the class pace was steadily rasing in pace and I couldn't manage holding all of it since it was happening in all my classes at once. Half way through the semester I was holding steady 70-80% which wasn't what I wanted. I was ready to drop the classes and go back to the normal education and get back on my level but I just couldn't I was planning to but my brain didn't allow me to. That being said I asked my teachers if they could slow down just a little and most of them agreed so I worked double to nail the assignments while I could. By the end of the year I had mostly all A's and it was thanks to that little spark in me that didn't allow me to quit.

How does my story relate to the theme-
I was struggling in my classes and couldn't keep up. but I something in me just didn't allow me to quit so I built the courage to ask my teachers if they could slow down the pace so I could catch up and get a better grade. They allowed it and I perservered with almost perfect grades in all my classes.
