Odysseus was intelligent, brave, and was a leader. he is intelligent because he in the episode "The Cyclopes" Odysseus said this "My name is Nohbdy: mother, father, and friends, everyone calls me Nohbdy." (homer line 315 - 316) this is smart because when the cyclopes gets hurt no one knows because the cyclopes says nobody hurt my. "Nohbdy, Nohbdy’s tricked me, Nohbdy’s ruined me!". (homer line 359). Odysseus was brave. he showed this when he decided to fight the suitors. "so that we might lay plans to kill our enemies". (Homer line 1082) and another time were Odysseus bad mouthed the Cyclopes. "far off shore as shouted words would carry, sent a few back to the adversary: ‘O Cyclops! Would you feast on my companions?
Puny, am I, in a cave man’s hands?
How do you like the beating that we gave you, you damned cannibal? Eater of guests under your roof! Zeus and the gods have paid you!’". (Homer line 428 - 435) Odysseus was also a leader, for example when Odysseus guided his men threw the two sea monsters. "That was all, and it brought them round to action. But as I sent them on toward Scylla." (Homer line 783)
