<title>One reason why Mr. Leonard Lim’s business in infrared technology failed in 2003 during the Sars period was because he did not have sufficient knowledge of infrared technology. Although he had joined his friend’s IT start-up to do development in infrared technology, the entry to barrier for the technology was high, and the market ready infrared camera had many gaps which needed to be bridge as told by Mr. Leonard Lim himself.
