Malcolm X was a revolutionary Muslim minister known for being an advocate for the Black Community and was a human rights activist for the civil rights movement. Malcolm X was assented by the members of the Nation of Islam while giving a speech in New York City. What we have learned from him today is the emphasis on Black self-determination and racial pride, leading to concerns about racial justice and systemic racism. This paved the way for the BLM movement.

Rosa Parks have taught us to stand up for what you believe is right and not let any person treat you different.

Snowball was known as Napoleon's smarter counterpart in aiding and leading Animal Farm. However, once Snowball started to go against Napoleon’s ideas, and spoke about building a new invention to help the workload of animals, Napoleon chased snowball out of the farm with dogs. After Snowball was banished from the farm, Napoleon then spread lies and propaganda against Snowball’s ideas.He is a smart pig who cares about helping animals become independent and live a better life. He constantly tried to find different ways to demonstrate that they could work more efficiently and handle the workload.

Known for & why silenced: Khalil was an activist and pro-Palestinian protester. He was silenced by having his green card taken away, which led to his being arrested because he believed in his freedom of speech.

Learned: We learned that he's not the only person who's been silenced for voicing their care for other people. There have been many unlawful arrests during protests throughout the year, which just shows how we as a society go back in time over and over again. Khalil is one of the few who were known for this, but there are plenty of others who went through the same thing and have never been recognized for it. This statement isn't just for Khalil, but for those who went and plan to say something about our corrupt justice system. We really love real-life stories like this because it's not just raising awareness, but it also moves us to help encourage people not to be afraid about using the rights we were born with.

Nikola Tesla was a brilliant inventor who dreamed of giving the world free, wireless energy, but over time, the public stopped listening. In his early years, he was celebrated for innovations like AC electricity, but as his ideas grew more ambitious like transmitting power through the air he lost the support of wealthy backers who couldn't profit from his vision. He wanted to created clean free sustained energy or the entire world. And as the media, once fascinated, began to mock him as eccentric, and his rivals, including Edison, painted him as dangerous or mad. By the time he died alone in a hotel room, Tesla was largely forgotten, his papers seized by the U.S. government and his name buried for decade without a reason as to why. He wasn’t silenced overnight but slowly, the world turned away from a man it couldn’t quite understand and maybe missed the opportunity for a great mind and idea to further our technology and innovation.

Our group belives that JFK was silenced for speaking the truth,and speaking against the power that many held. JFK often spoke against communism he opposed the civil war and dictatorship in soviet russia. He spoke against racism and racial segeration.

When it came to soviet russia not only did he oppose the dictatorship but the control they had over nukes, not just soviet russia but other countries as well, like israel, Pakistan,India,Germany,Japan, he was just against nuclear wafare overall. He just wanted good for his country and his world, such as civil rights equailty,and peace for the world. Do to all he's done in his short time in office my group believe that he was killed due what he succeed for us, and everything he fought for before his death was left behind after his death.

Nelson Mandela was a South African anti-apartheid activist and politician who became the first president of South Africa. From the start of his political career, he criticized the apartheid system that was prominent in South Africa. This led many government officials to push to keep his ideals from spreading. They did this by imprisoning him for 27 years, using apartheid against him. His movement was censored, he was isolated, and his words were banned. Through his perseverance and strong moral code, he became president of South Africa, achieving the goals of the anti-apartheid regime. His strong will led him to not only obtain a more racially equal country, but he also proved that as long as you stay firm in your beliefs, things will go your way.

A good example about someone being silenced is Martin Luther king jr he was known for his fight against racism and being civil rights activist. MLK was often thrown in jail for hosting protests and boycotts advocating for equal rights. he also got killed for fighting in what he believed in, he is a good example because he kept fighting until he died in April 4th, 1968.We have learned from him is that we should treat everyone the same no matter their looks or background because at he end of the day we are all human

Belle’s father, Maurice, from Beauty and the Beast, was known for standing up for his daughter. He was trying to get the men together to fight off the beast and retrieve his daughter. Gaston convinced the villagers that Maurice was crazy, because what Maurice was saying made Gaston look bad. Maurice was about to get put in the local insane asylum due to the accusations made against him. We learn about fatherly protection, perseverance and the importance of fact checking before making accusations.

Jimmy Kimmel is wildly known for his talk show, recently politically silenced for speaking out on a controversial view over Charlie Kirk's death. At the sight of his talk over Kirk's death his office received a notice by the Trump administration as they saw this statement as a damage to the administration's image. This later caused controversial views on both political parties sides as everyone was confused on where Kimmel was in the wrong as they saw no wrong doing in his statement as no mention of Trump was ever stated to begin with, this later damages Disney's reputation as they later gave Kimmel his show back after losing over 6.4 Billion within less than a week.

Martin Luther King Jr. was a Civil Rights Activist who spoke up against the discrimination against black people in the United States. He is most well-known for giving his "I have a dream" speech and for starting the Montgomery Bus Boycott. One of the many ways he was silenced was by being arrested on multiple accounts during the Civil Rights Activism. Another way he was attempted to be silenced was by the public attempting to burn down his house multiple times and a woman eve attempted to burn his hosue down even after he got assassinated. He was eventually silenced for speaking out, and he was assassinated in 1968. One thing we learned from Martin Luther King Jr. was that we have to stand up for the things we believe is right, and that we should not bite back our tongue and speak up.
