In today’s reading I learned about the setting. One thing about the setting I learned is that the kids moved to a house in the country. It has grass and things pretty far away from the house.i think that they may not like the house that much now but will like it later as the spend more time in it. Another setting in found in the book is when Lucy went in to the wardrobe and went to a new place. It is a snowy place with trees. She meet someone that is half person half animal and she found a light post in the middle of the woods. That connects to my theorem that the light post symbolizes a new light coming in and making happiness. This is because there was a light post glowing so bright in a pitch black area.also into days reading I found in today’s reading is a medaphore for the wardrobe. It ic comfort to Lucy. Maybe she had a wordrobe like it at home which made her not scared to go. This theroey connects to my final finding how lusy dragon is being scared. That is why I think she might have a wardrobe like it at home because she had no frear about going through it.

In todays first chapter in The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, we are introduced to Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy. They had to leave London due to the war there, so, a professor, that I predict is Digory, is watching after them. When they meet the professor, Lucy is afraid of the professor and Edmund thinks he looks funny. Susan and Peter thought he was nice. The day after, when they finished having breakfast, with the professor, they decided to look around the house for a bit. When they found the room with the wardrobe, everyone left because it’s just a wardrobe.. but Lucy decided not to leave. I think she was suspicious of the wardrobe, and when she went inside of it and felt the tree branch, she was even more suspicious. Lucy was a bit confused and then when she met the Faun, she was even more confused. I think a theme so far is, “Show respect for others and your surroundings.” Edmund laughed because the professor looks a little odd, in this opinion, and Lucy was scared of the professor because he looks odd. But deep down inside, I know the professor is really, really, kind. I’m sure Susan and Peter and the maids think that.. but ... others may not.

In today’s reading I read that a setting Is a house that’s they are not use to. Also I read that they were separated from their parents because of a war going on. Now they live with a professor and Lucy is afraid of him so Lucy’s dragon is her own fear. A theme I found for this book is mind your own Business this is a theme because they we’re snooping around the house. Also it is a theme because Lucy was snooping and almost got kidnaped. I have noticed that the wardrobe is kinda being compared to comfort and warmth. As of this point in the book the faun is compared to to friendship.

In today’s reading I learned about what I think the name Edmund means. Acroding to reasreach it means bravery. Although he is not very brave right most athors Change the way a character acts from the begging to the end. This theroey connects to how I think that he symbolizes confusion and a ruckses. That is why I came up with a allegory for edmand. It is don’t let someone control you and change what you know is true even if you want to look cool because because they are older than you. I think that edmand is a very confusing character because he always changes his mind about how he feels with Polly and naninia even though he knows it is real. Also into days reading I learned more about the queen or the white witch. She tells edmand that she is the best person ever and he should come back again and bring all his siblings even. I think she might because saying this because she wants more servant, peaople to take care of her and if they are bad turn them into stone. From reading the first book and from the information I have learned about her in this book I came to a conclusion that the white which symbolizes Evelin badness and has nothing good about her.

In today and yesterday’s reading, lots has happened. Lucy met a Faun (which is Mr Tumnas) and it turns out that he actually kidnaps humans. However, he didn’t kidnap Lucy because he gets along with her and because he realizes that he doesn’t want to hurt a little girl. When she goes back to the real world and tells her siblings, they think that she’s insane, especially Edmund. When the children play hide and seek, Lucy hides in the wardrobe and sneaks away into Narnia, but, soon after, Edmund decided to sneak into the wardrobe and ended up in Narnia. He talks to the queen, and in my opinion she is way to rude to be a queen. I think the Queen is actually the White Witch. When Edmund talks to her, the Queen gives him food and something to drink and Edmund spills the juice about his siblings and the real world, which in my opinion, he shouldn’t have. When Edmund and Lucy meet up, Lucy can’t wait for them to tell the others. Edmund lies that he playing along with Lucy when Lucy tells the others. When Susan and Peter talk to the professor, the professor says Lucy may not be insane. I’m curious about what happens next.

I today’s reading i flagged about a dragon not a real dragon but Edmonds mental dragon. His mental dragon is him trusting everyone. He is choosing to trust the queen because she gave him Turkish delight. There are three other dragons in the book. They are Lucy’s 3 siblings Peter,Edmund, and Susan. They are her dragons because they are doubting her and are bringing her down. They don’t believe her about Narnia. The problem is that Edmund knows about Narnia but is choosing to lie and say I was making it up with her

The companions of the white witch are trees a knome thing, and wolves, and Edmund. The companions of aslan is most of Narnia, Lucy, Susan, Peter. The villin is the white witch
