As a tourist on a cruise, I am thrilled to be traveling to Greece, a country that has always fascinated me with its ancient history and rich culture. Our itinerary includes stops in Olympia, Mykonos, Rhodes, Athens, and Valetta, and I can hardly contain my excitement for what lies ahead.
We can't wait to visit Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games, and imagine what it was like for ancient Greek athletes to compete in these hallowed games. Mykonos is another highlight of our trip, with its picturesque beaches and charming white-washed buildings that epitomize the beauty of the Greek islands.
Rhodes is known for its stunning medieval architecture, and we are looking forward to exploring the city's old town, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. And of course, no trip to Greece would be complete without a visit to Athens, the cradle of Western civilization and home to some of the most famous landmarks in the world, such as the Parthenon and the Acropolis.
Last but not least, we are excited to visit Valetta, the capital city of Malta, which is steeped in history and has a vibrant Mediterranean culture all its own. We feel so fortunate to be embarking on this journey, and I can't wait to immerse myself in the beauty and history of this majestic part of our planet.
