Gradwitz and Znaeym are two famous rivals and their family feud has been passed down from generation to generation. They realize that maybe fighting over some piece of land is a waste of time and unnecessary hatred. Ulrich and Georg have been taught to hate each other and their opponents families due to past scandals, lawsuits, and affrays. The two of them end up crushed under a while hunting. They argue and banter for a good while about whose allies will come rescue them first, even wishing condolences to each other's families. Ulrich realizes the circumstances of the situation and decides to offer his glass of wine to Georg; and although he is reluctant, he accepts. The story's rising action is all about their family feud and their family feud, so when they finally begin to surrender, it leads to the climax of the creation of their friendship. Although it may seem like a resolution, it was only until now that all the fighting rising was stopped when Ulrich offered a drink to Georg. The Crisis of the story was when Georg was skeptical of Ulrich´s statement and told him that he doesn't drink with the enemy. Later on, it led to the Climax where Georg later declared that Ulrich was his friend.
