I would rather be in the Kshatryia. If I were in the Kshatryia caste, I would prefer to be a warrior because I would want to protect others, even though I have to go through extensive military training. However, If I went through the military training, I would be a master in archery, swordsmanship, and hand-to-hand combat.

I would like to be in the Kshatriya caste. The Kshatriya protect and defend the rest of the castes, which I think is very important. Even though the Brahmin are the highest in the system, the Kshatriya protect them and all the castes below them. I find that very important because without them all the other castes would be in danger. The Kshatriya help maintain the balance and protect the rest of the castes.

If I had a choice of caste I would choose the Bhramin caste because they have the most power, and a better life. They were able to teach the Vedas, and be priests. They received gifts from the lower castes because those castes thought that was a good deed, and they would be reincarnated into a higher caste.

I'd be in the Bramin caste. Too add, they hold a lot of power over everybody else. Also, they can study, and also teach the holy text. Furthermore, they are able to perform sacrifices and religious rites. People would also give them donations.

If I had to be in one of the Caste groups I would be in the Kshatriya because I get to rule and protect the country.

i would like to be a kshatryia. Being a brahmin would require a lot of responsibilities and if something in the society was wrong you may be blamed for it, brahmins are supposed to have all the answers. As a kshatryia i would have power over the people and be able to rule or defend my land. Out of those two i would rather be a ruler so i could still help out in the community and control my warriors to defend our land. You also are allowed to learn from the vedas and have a spiritual birth.

I don't like the caste system because I don't like the fact of labeling people. Also, I think it is unfair that just because someone has a higher social status than someone means people who are "lower" than others have to do work no one else wants to.

I think the caste system in Ancient India was very strict and some what unfair because if your parents were in one caste, you would automatically be in that caste, with no way to move up or down the castes. No. I would not like to live in the caste system because I would be expected to be exactly how the rules of the caste say, and I would not be able to go any higher or lower in the caste system.

The caste system actually almost dictated what a person was able to do. Your cast was determined by birth and once in a caste there was no way out in that life. The higher in the system you are, the more power you wield. By having good karma, you could be reincarnated into a higher caste in the next life. I think that the caste system in India was a little unfair. You were born into whatever class your parents were. I would not like to live in the Caste system in India. You should be in a class based on good or bad deeds you have done. Separating people by "power" is wrong.

I personally would not want to live in the caste system because you had no choice on which class you were put in. If your parents were outcastes then you had to be an outcaste too even if you'd rather be in the Kshatriya you couldn't, even if you were a good warrior.

The positives to the Indian caste system were the fact that people with power (supposedly) had to have earned it in a previous life. One of the many negatives is that people's potential could be stifled because of their caste. Someone in the Sudra could have great warrior potential but not be allowed to execute it because of their caste.

Castes were necessary to maintain order. Since India was a larger society, the castes system was able to keep everyone in order. Many civilizations had some sort of social class or ranking and the society was able to do well and remain stable so, I think the caste system was a necessary way to keep order.
