Voldemort is the shadow because he is described as extremely powerful and dangerous and represents evil that needs to be defeated by the hero.

Rubeus Hagrid and Albus Dumbledore are the mentors because they guide and protect the hero by offering advice, weapons, and other gifts and they exemplify great wisdom.

Uncle Veronon and Fluffy are the threshold gaurdians because they stand in the way of the hero at important turning events.

Professor Mcgonagall is the shapeshifter because she can transform herself and manipulate other beings.

Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger are the allies because they help the hero in moments of crisis and are often willing to fight on the hero's behalf.

The owls are the herolds because they deliver messages and news and act as a signal of coming change.
