I play with the things I get, and eat some choclate cake that my mom makes and then I stay up and watch t.v and play with my sister and brother then we all go to the sleep in the living room and my mom stays up and open up her presents and then go to sleep, and my dad opens his presents, and then he goes right back to sleep, then my dog chews on his chew toy and goes to sleep after he is done , and then we sleep until the next morning. My friends and I would go shopping into the town for gifts for our parents and other friends. Shopping on Christmas Eve is an event in Antigua, since everyone seems to wait until the last minute. At this time, the stores were filled with other customers also, trying to finish last minute shopping. About 10:00 pm we would leave the town and head back home to prepare for Midnight Mass. Being the good little innocent church boy (which I am still a good little innocent church boy) I was in charge or all the church altar preparation. After celebrating Mass, I would go home, where my aunt would be baking ham, glazed with a pineapple, brown sugar and mustard mixture. This was my favorite Christmas food. On Christmas morning, I would have freshly; baked bread stuffed with ham and pineapple and eat until I am stuffed. I would then proceed to open my gifts, if there was any and then call all of my friends and family to wish them a Merry Christmas. Every year I would also play my mother favorite Christmas song, The Greatest Gift of All by Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton.
