The Oktoberfest has its beginning when after the arrival of the Wiesnwirte (owners of the breweries) escorted by horse carriages loaded with kegs of beer, the mayor opens the first barrel of beer and a parade of traditional costumes takes place. Then comes the time to enjoy liters of beer, food and fun that run through the festival tents.
