Many people could not afford their meals since they had lost their jobs and with the money they had, the money quickly disappeared from the families so they couldn't pay for a regular meal. Going to the soup kitchens provided families with a meal that would hold them over until the next day. I believe it could've been added to the hyperdoc because it may have given more information on the struggles of the tax payer during the Great Depression.

I was intrigued by the STFU when reading the article on Day 3, and I was disappointed that we weren't asked any questions about them on the Great Depression Questions Worksheet. STFU and CASU were influential groups during the Great Depression; the labor unions symbolized how appealing the Socialist Party was to the farmers during their strife. 
I would include this photo on slide 8 which a caption labeling it "President of STFU."
