Let's just say they were glad to have someone who could handle the students. I was called again after the summer because a person in the practical program (mild to moderate) left and they could not fill the position. I fell in love with the program and the students. That was last year, and this year, I am a new teacher getting a new degree. My longest hike with my boys was around Mt Rainier - 100 miles and 27,000 foot elevation change up and down. No matter where I was in my career the students who were difficult to control ended up in my class. The on-going joke at North High was that I was a victim of my success.
