The students always spoke highly of her. They always enjoyed going to her class. She also allowed me to use her room during access testing. She always had a smile on her face when I asked to grab a student for access testing also!

I always enjoyed subbing in Kinsey’s classroom when she was out last year. Her students were engaged and it was obvious that she sets clear expectations for them - they respect her! She is always in a good mood and her words are always positive when we’ve engaged in a conversation.😃

Kinsey always has a positive attitude and takes the time to say hello when she sees people. I love that she invites the teachers to come and listen to the students when applicable. Her energy and love of the students is amazing!

My room was close enough to the band room that I could hear the 6th grade band during my planning, and frankly, it was frightening the sounds that come out of there in August and September. But a few months in, and there is recognizable songs. It is truly amazing. Plus…I love Kinsey on a personal level and she is always fun to talk to!

She is patient. She has the largest classes in the building and she keeps it all together. I am also impressed with how much growth her musicians demonstrate each year.

She started the Wellness Committee which she created from nothing and this committee has earned recognition from across the district. She is a valued teacher among all of her students who speak nothing but great things of her.
