There a lot of island that you can go which is Perhentian Island, Redang Island and Lang Tengah Island. The duration to go to Lang Tengah Island from Merang Jetty is 50 minutes. I went there with a group of tourists from China. There also two boatman that guide us. 
- When I arrived there, I have been given a room that complete with the toilet, aircond and fan. I also been given a lot of specialities such as free to go snorkelling, diving, island hopping, food, free to use facilities like goggles, jackets and be on the boat. 
- At 2 p.m., I had been called by their supervisor. At there, we called her Ama. She is a Chinese. She told me to rest and do whatever I want there.
- At 5 p.m., I decided to go snorkelling at Redang Island. At there, they have five chefs and another staff have nine persons. Outside of the kitchen, there also have one uncle and his niece sell Mee/Mee Hoon/Kuey Tiaw Soup and others Chinese food. We called him Uncle Soup.
- On my first day as a part time staff there, they taught me what have to do such as arranged type of dishes in a buffet line. They also told me to collect the plate and clean the dishes after the tourists had been done eat. 
- I started at 8 a.m. and finished at 2 p.m. I have to go back at 6 p.m. and finished at 10 p.m. After finished the works, we have to clean all the place and be ready for the next day. We also had meeting after finished all. In the morning, we served breakfast such as Nasi Lemak, Fried Mee, bread and many more. For afternoon, we served lunch which is provide rice as a daily food and variety of dishes. We have hi-tea which mean we provide kuih or another assorted fried. And the last one, we provide dinner to the tourists. We also have ice-cream, vegetables, fruits, yogurts, spaghetti and different types of drinks. 
- There also have a cafe that managed by two staff. It is called Okechobee. There have different types of drinks such as watergrass, milk, ribena and so on. For hot water, they serve coffee and tea. You can choose either milk or sugar. 
- For lunch, there will be 11 types of meals while for dinner there will be 12 types of dishes. On the right buffet line, there will have 3 types of fruits, salads, pudding, yogurt and drinks ( 2 type of drinks and plain water). The departments are reception, maintenance, food and beverages (F&B), public area (PA), diving centre, snorkelling guide, housekeeping and boatman. At there, there were a lot of workers which contains local and foreign people. 
- There were a lot of facilities too. For example, there were also seminar hall, summer court, karaoke, mini market, spa, bar, mamak restaurant, swimming pool. They also provides hostel and canteen for the workers which includes TV. - I learnt how to calculate the number of tourist that come to eat when the dinner. And what importantly I also learnt how to speak in their language and improved my skills.
