I am proud to be "Auntia" to two beautiful, brilliant, and hilariously-headstrong girls named Savanna (almost six), and Shyanne (sixteen months). I am beyond-thrilled to announce that another little niece will be arriving in January! I have had quite a journey with faith, and I have recently found my home in a church that truly models acceptance, all-inclusive love, and even abundant humor. Each week I've spent with the camp has been difficult, heartbreaking, and heartwarming. It has also confirmed my passion to work with youth.

I am probably obsessed with music, though I have no musical talents myself. I don't know what I would do without Spotify! I have incredibly eclectic and often unpopular (not hipster, I'm talking country and showtunes!) taste. I love oldies (60s on 6 is my jam, for those who have Sirius), some pop, some alternative, and basically bits of everything. 

My guilty pleasure is trash TV. I shouldn't name specifics but...Dance Moms, RHOBH, Bachelor in Paradise. The damage is done. My favorite series is Friends, which I will never call trash.

My favorite book is A Mind at a Time, by Dr. Mel Levine, and I love reading up on the psychology of learning!

And, in case you can't tell, I love food and find it to be extraordinarily photogenic. I'll leave you with that, and with this sweet dose of sunshine from my littlest love, Shyanne! :)
