Bangladesh was originally part of the Indian Empire that could've taken the name from the Bang tribe. The main religion of Bangladesh is Buddhism which was spread from the Mauryan Empire. In 1757, the British East India Company took control. When the rule ended in 1947, this lead to a cultural division of Pakistan which led to the Language Movement later on. 

Some other issues Bangladesh have been suffering from are violent protests and factory initiatives. In 2014, about 1,700 factories were inspected to look for safety issues. Out of these factories, most of them were identified as unsafe, as they are known for not being safe. Another problem are the protests. Most of the protest Bangladesh citizens have become violent and result in the death of citizens. 4. I learned that not only was it sex trafficking, but they'd use the body parts of victims to sell on the Black Market.
