- He went to go put the tar on the mule's on his own

Looks: (pg 40)   " George looked over at Slim and saw the calm God like eyes fastened on him". 

- George looks at Slim and thinks of him as a God when looking at him

Actions- "Lennie followed his words admiringly and moved his lips a little keep up" pg 56 This shows that Lennie is a little slow and has to follow along with what he is saying carefully to keep up.

"Lennie held out his hands pleading" pg 53 Lennie becomes obsessive over the pups like a child.

"Lennie looked up helplessly at George and the got up and tried to retreat" 

Thoughts- "Lennie's hands remained at his sides; he was too frightened to defend himself". this tells us that lennie always gets scared in serious situations instead of doing something about it.

Looks- "Lennie covered his face with huge paws and bleated with terror" This could be used for actions but also looks because his hands are described as "huge paws" because they are so big. 

effects on other- "leggo his hand lennie. leggo. slim come help me while the guy got any hand left. george said because lennie held on curley hand so hard he crushed it.
