When they show good behavior they get to add marbles into the jar. When the jar is full then they get rewarded. When the kids are bad then they get marbles taken out. I decided to help tackle the issue of the kids being off task and not being ready to learn quick enough. To do this I decided to add another jar. This jar would be considered the "bad" jar. When the kids are off task or not listening then they would have to take out marbles form the good jar and put it into the bad one. If the bad jar gets full before the good one does then the good one marbles get taken out. 

I feel as if the jar was a good thing so the kids could have a visual. They could see what their actions were doing visually by taking out the marbles. I feel like it worked for a little bit at first. The off task was getting better a little. After a while I feel like the kids almost forgot about the other jar and it wasn't that important. You have the good kids, smart kids and the troublemakers. One of the troublemakers stuck out to me. He is this little boy that goes by the name of Nate. He is always sent into the hallway or having his clip moved down. But there was something about him that drew me to him. When I first started in this class he would never say anything to me. Then I started to work with him. I would have a lot of patience with him. He needed a little extra help that I don't think anyone was giving him. When he did something wrong instead of yelling at him I would talk to him nicely. I think this made him more comfortable with me. Now he will start saying hi to me every time I walk in the door. He will come up to me and give me a hug. He slowly started to listen to me more and more. I will tell him to stop doing something and he will. He is the sweetest little thing ever if people actually worked with him. Towards the end of my time there I have noticed him starting to behave a little better each day. I.3.1 | Students will differentiate among the physical stages of learners. Kids develop their gross motor skills first then their fine motor skills develop. The gross motor skills is when they are building their balance and coordination. The fine motor skills is more like hand eye coordination.
| Since my students are older than their is a lot of developing that is happening like you can physically see but I would assume in younger classes this is present when they are playing on the playground and swinging on monkey bars. 
I.3.2 | Students will examine the cognitive stages of learners. The cognitive stages look at thinking and language and reading. Between 5-7 they become more of logical thinkers and it continues to develop. They still use their imagination a lot. The students get better at talking properly and learning how to read better and better. 
| For this one it is hard because my students aren’t in elementary or middle school but this one implies to every age level I believe. It is just harder to see when they get older. The students are learning everyday so I think that kind of fits in this category.

Student/Teacher Interaction | The teacher interacts well with his students. He talks to them a lot and has a good sense of humor with them. | I think having a good sense of humor is good for a teacher. I feel as if it makes the students more comfortable with you and more willing to do their work.
Classroom Management  | The class is manage well. The students have pretty free range but the teacher does keep it under control. |

Classroom Culture | This class is very active and funny. They all have a good time and joke around. |

Content Instruction | The teacher helps the students learn by letting them try it first and fixing their mistakes. It is pretty split on teacher help and students doing it themselves.

I.2.1 | There are many different types of learning. There's the visual, auditory, and kinesthetic- tactile learners. 

| The kinesthetic-tactile learners probably took the most away from the lesson monday because they were able to touch things and test it out themselves. They made videos to show motion for the class to see.
I.2.2 | Students with special needs have to be helped more in school when they are trying to learn. There is different ways they can help sometimes they put the students in a normal class with help, they might just include the student to help them socially and they might just have specific special needs classes.

| There is no special needs kids in my class that I know of. But most of the time if there is a person that needs a little help the teacher has more patience with them and their pace of learning. 
I.2.3 | There is some challenges students face that could get in the way of successful learning. There is a major difference in culture and race in our school. Everyone is very diverse. Students might be having home problems too that affects their life at school.

Content Instruction | He explains each assignment very in depth. The kids then have time to ask questions if they need.  | This is helpful so the students aren’t confused. They all normally know what they are supposed to do.
Technology/Instructional Strategies | They use the smart board a lot to do their assignments and to have brain breaks.  | The good thing about the brain breaks is they help the students get all their energy out and get them ready to learn.
