Our organization is always striving to find the next innovation and advocacy for advancing inclusion and access. Over the years we have expanded our agency to support even more children and adults. By adding WORK, Inc. to our family in 2001, services expanded into Santa Barbara and Santa Maria Counties. In 2007, Wheels for Humanity joined us stretching our impact to more than 70 countries worldwide.

Today, Momentum is the largest nonprofit provider of direct-care services for adults in Southern California. We have over 30 program and services sites providing an array of individualized resources so individuals can choose how they want to live their day-to-day lives.

SNAP Sports provides individuals with disabilities the opportunity to engage in a variety of sports-based activities. Our athletes often shatter the notion of commonly held limitations, by accepting the challenge of more complex competitive sports. Players gain confidence and poise while becoming better equipped to manage their individual disabilities. Athletes who participate regularly, routinely develop the essential physical and social skills needed to improve their everyday lives.

I'm an educational advocate working to increase the numbers of students with disabilities getting FAPE. While I've done parent-to-parent advocacy for years (being the parent of an amazing daughter on the spectrum), four years ago I listened to the urging of friends and family and opened an advocacy practice.

To provide creative spaces that encourage all members of the community to come together while embracing those with disabilities.  We support our disabled artists’ social and emotional growth while encouraging them to explore and learn all aspects of the arts in a supportive, positive, and
inclusive environment.  Simultaneously, we strive to provide a respite of support, self-care, and socialization for the people who love them.

The mission of the Center is to provide a rich environment and robust infrastructure to support innovative clinical and biomedical research through collaborations between researchers, families and self-advocates.

Our vision is to become a world-class academic research center that conducts research and provides education to improve the quality of life for aging people with Down syndrome.

“Mr. Connolly Has ALS” chronicles Connolly’s final year as principal of Concord (NH) High School and features CHS students – including Habib's son Samuel – asking Connolly about the most profound and personal aspects relating to his life with the disease, and what it feels like to become disabled.

In the Emmy Award winning documentary short, Samuel Habib, 21, wants to date, leave home, go to college. But he drives a 350-pound wheelchair, uses a communication device, and can have a seizure at any moment. Determined to find his path forward, he seeks out guidance from America’s most rebellious disability activists. Will they empower him to launch the bold adult life he craves? The film premiered May 17, 2022, as a New York Times Op-Doc. The entire lead cast on this project - and the majority of the production and outreach crew - are people with disabilities.

We work in litigation, legal representation, advocacy services, investigations, public policy, and provide information, advice, referral, and community outreach.

For more than 40 years, drc has worked to advance the rights of Californians with disabilities in education, employment, independence, health, and safety, and has grown into the largest disability rights organization in the nation.

Similar to the WAIII cooperative programs, WAIV services include vocational assessment, internships, employment preparation, job development, placement and retention, and short-term supports. Consumers are referred to the WAIV program by their DOR Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor for enhanced, coordinated vocational services to help them obtain meaningful employment.
