Some cool features of WeVideo are importing media directly from social sites, integrated themes, music and sound effects.

I am envisioning this as a class for teachers who want their students to be able to give presentations, but need some guidelines and best practices so that they have some consistency when kids come to school on presentation day.

Examples of things that could be addressed:

When should someone use Prezi vs PowerPoint?
  • Which is better for group work?
  • What is the best way to have a student turn in a Prezi or a PowerPoint  exported to USB, etc.
  • How to write guidelines so that students don't create Prezis that make people feel sea-sick or Powerpoints that put people to sleep.
  • Embedding videos and clipping them
  • How to put research citations into the presentations.

So the class would really be teaching the teachers how to do some of those things (exporting a presentation, inserting a video clip) so they could help students, and also give them time to think about their classes and their assignments and develop a guide for presentations for students, and leave with some samples of already made presentations that they can show students.  These could already be on the T4E flash drive and teachers could choose/modify what they like.
