         <description><![CDATA[<div>-He was known as a conquistador (one who conquers.)<br>-Riches were found in the fabled seven golden cities of Cibola.<br>-Spaniards attacked their villages more and captured and killed many natives.<br>-Up and down the Rio grande Coronado's were feared.<br>-Search was for gold and silver and Coronado and his men returned to Mexico how ever he was appointed governor of new Spain.<br>- He worried that he would be accused of mistreating Natives.<br>-Coronado's health began to worsen and he died in 1554. His expedition gave much geographic knowledge of the new world's southwest region.</div>]]></description>
