Elsa has a vision about the four earth elements and is starting to hear voices. After that, she believes that she woke the spirits of the enchanted forest and that's what forced the people out of their village.

Status Quo

In the beginning, it shows a flashback (foreshadowing) of Anna and Elsa when they were told a story about the four elements of the earth; told by their parents when they were alive. Then, it reverts back to present time, and everything in Arendelle is normal and everyone is happy and having a good time with their everyday life.

Elsa made the conclusion that she woke the spirits of Forrest and asked the main troll (Pabbie) what they should do and he sent them on a quest. Therefore, it is the only way to save their village.

They met the Arendellian soldiers and the Northuldra people who also got trapped in the enchanted forest. they have been trapped for years. Elsa has also encountered meeting the other spirits. They fought and then after they had created a mystical bond. the fights between Elsa and the Spirits were very effective to the other people and animals in the Forrest.

Resolution

In the end, Elsa turns out to be the fifth spirit and stays in the enchanted forest. Anna and Elsa make a bridge between humanity and magic so everyone can go back and forth meeting new people and connecting Arendelle fully together again. Anna becomes the new queen of Arendelle and the fiance of Kristoff when he finally proposes. Olaf is brought back by Elsa and all is well in Arendelle.

Elsa rides on the spirit horse to Ahtohallan. When she gets there, there are flashbacks and the past is revealed on how the curse began. Elsa was forced to give up all her powers to send Anna a message that shows the real truth. This gave Anna a clue on how to lift the curse and save Arendelle. But to save Arendelle, they must break the dam, therefore it was not a gift of peace.

Elsa saves Arendelle and with the curse being lifted, all of the people and animals are free from the Enchanted Forest. Elsa finally finds some of the truth about her family, who she really is, and what happened between the Arendellian people and the Northuldra tribe. Not only Elsa finds the truth but she also gains wisdom about trusting others.

Elsa returns to the enchanted forest as the lost spirit and new knowledge of her ancestor's past. Elsa reveals that she will stay in the enchanted forest and Anna, Kristoff, Olaf, and Sven return back to Arendelle and Anna is crowned queen.
