My name is Yasmine Romdhane. I’m 18 years old and I live in Grombalia which is situated in Nabeul, a coastal town in north-eastern Tunisia, on the south coast near to the Cap Bon peninsula. I have only one brother, Yasine. He is 20. Actually, I come from another country, The Netherlands, where I was born and where I lived for 11 years. But seven years ago, we decided to move to Tunisia, my parents’ home country. Dutch is my mother tongue. I also speak French, Arabic, and of course, English, which is my favourite language.  I’m a student at Grombalia’s secondary school. This year, I’m attending the 2nd year with ‘sciences’ as my chosen section. Normally, I should be attending the 3rd year of secondary education. That would be the case if I was born here. But since I moved pretty grown up, my parents had to enrol me in 5th year of primary school rather than 6th year to catch up with the studies in Tunisia. And so was the case with my brother. It has never bothered us anyway. Speaking about my hobbies, I’m interested in video games, as CS:GO (Counter Strike Global Offensive) my most played game, music, as EDM (Electronic Dance Music), Dubstep, and House my favourite genres, photography, and drawing. I also like to read books especially when I’m on the road. I like to make new friends from all over the world. I already have a lot but enough is never enough. I’m a huge animal lover. I love all living creatures from the smallest to the largest without exception. Yes, even spiders haha. But I love cats a little more. My biggest goal is to build a life I don’t need a vacation from. I wish to spend it doing something I like, living with the people I love, and just be happy. Life is too short to be anything but happy. I also want to be so good at English that someone can’t distinguish whether I’m a native English speaker or not.
