Franklin was the 14th president, he was born in Hillsborough New Hampshire in 1804. He went to Bowdoin College at 24 and was elected to the state legislature. He became the speaker for New Hampshire two years later. 
     Stephen A Douglas was an American politician from Illinois. He was part of the democratic party and ran against Abraham Lincoln. He was born on April 23,1814. Later he introduced bill that divided Missouri into two territories. Those two territories were Kansas and Nebraska.
