         <description><![CDATA[<div>Ben said a lot of smart things that were cool and I learned stuff. Zoie was loud and that kept me awake.&nbsp; I really liked Deborah's pregnancy story and Ezra's things that he said about slang.&nbsp;<br><br>Completely agree! Deborah's pregnancy story reinforced our discussion on the evolving nature of language.  It makes me think of words like "pissed." In Australia it means drunk, in the US its a crude way of saying angry.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I tried to lay the groundwork to have a debate if Yiddish was a pidgin or creole language so that we could learn difference and never miss a multiple choice involving these two concepts.  Zoie's point about hipsters learning Yiddish because it trendy to do made me realize that a language can simultaneously be a pidgin language and developing [spoken and written].  To the hipsters who listen to a podcast on how to speak Yiddish, it is pidgin.  To a child of in an Ashkenazi whose first language is Yiddish it is a creole.</div>]]></description>
