The company HP was founded in a garage in California. Walt Disney bought 8 200B model to show the movie Fantasia in theaters.

1940's- Konrad Zuse finishes the Z3 Computer

The Z3 was made for aerodynamics calculation but in late 1943 the Z3 was bombed in Berlin. In 1960, Konrad's reconstruction is on display in the Deutsches Museum in Munich.

1950's- Librascope LGP-3O introduced

The MINAC was made in Caltech by a physicist called Stan Frankel. The LGP-30 was an early example of a personal computer which was bargained at less than $50,000.

1960's- Olivetti Programma 101 is released

At the New York World's Fair Programma 101 gets on the market to the public. The Programma 101 was used in NASA for the Apollo space project.

1970's- Apple II introduced

1980's IBM introduces its Personal Computer (PC)

1990's- PowerBook series of laptops is introduced
